SOUTH WEST - EYRE PENINSULA

Stay in Eyre Peninsula accommodation, on the west coast of South Australia, to take in some spectacular coastal scenery, with sheer cliffs, crashing waves and stunning blue waters. Watch whales at Head of Bight, swim with sea lions and dolphins at Baird Bay, or indulge in a smorgasbord of fresh seafood and oysters.

The Eyre Peninsula stretches 1000 km from Whyalla in the east to the Western Australian border, and 400 km from the Gawler Ranges in the north to Port Lincoln in the south. Here you can witness the miracle of whales playing with their young, walk along deserted beaches, throw in a line, try blue water sailing, eat abundant seafood, meet friendly locals and explore the Gawler Ranges.

East Coast of Eyre Peninsula - From Whyalla to Port Lincoln, past lovely coastal towns like Arno Bay, Cowell, Port Neill and Tumby Bay. This coastline features sheltered waters, white sandy beaches, excellent fishing and the spectacular Lincoln National Park.

The West Coast runs along the Flinders Highway from the tip of the Eyre Peninsula at Coffin Bay, past gorgeous bays and inlets to Cenduna. From here the Eyre Highway takes you past dramatic cliffs and vast desert along the Nullarbor Plain to the West Australian border.

Central Eyre & Gawler Ranges - Encompassing a myriad of spectacular National Parks and Reserves, this vast area stretches from Iron Knob in the east, past the gentle and peaceful hills of the Gawler Ranges to Ceduna where the highway meets the coast. It also encompasses the central plains of the Eyre Peninsula.
